IF DESTROYED STILL TRUE

Sedated By A Brick
 present a pathological performance.

Ten seconds of blood to the brain.

A silent figure manipulates two lifeless bodies, trying to revive them; forcing breath into their lungs, dressing and undressing them, pressing cups of tea to their unresponsive lips.

As the bodies are resuscitated, the knot of his reality unravels and they begin to exert their control over the quiet man and his world.

Sedated by a Brick make “alien, David Lynch-like” work (Ed Rapley).

This piece marks two years of thinking, talking and moving.

Supported by Theatre Bristol and Tobacco Factory Theatre’s Prototype Initiative.
